The Club was started in 1986 by a group of enthusiasts from Barrow village. In the last few years, the Club has grown steadily with members from the Soar Valley villages, Loughborough and Charnwood villages. Barrow is a member of the Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL), British Association of Road Runners and UK Athletics through affiliation to Midland Counties Athletic Association.

Barrow Runners welcomes any abilities from relative beginners upwards. There is a separate junior membership. The Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday in the front of Humphrey Perkins School, Cotes Road, Barrow at 7.00pm. More ....
